How to add Accordion effect in blogger templates
Posted by FISH On Friday, May 28, 2010 In /

Few days ago, I came across a brilliant tutorial on how to get the accordion effect with the use of CSS and jQuery on Sohtanaka.com

With little modification and a simple work around, I was able to implement on blogger as well. The effect may not be useful to many but it sure looks good. Also, if used effectively, it can help you organize lot of content.

The tutorial involves only 3 basic steps.

White Over Black - Premium Blogger Template

Blogger is a great blogging platform. But the lack of design, functionality and customization of blogger templates makes it not so likable platform. We know there are plenty of great looking templates out there, but the problem is those great looking templates are not so easy to set-up for a regular blogger. Also, some templates just simply don't work on different browsers or under different conditions. Hence, we will be releasing per week at least two blogger templates, which not only will work on different browsers but also will have the design aesthetics with functionality according to content and not by creation.

Free yet Revolutionary : Cash Music's Web Apps
Posted by FISH On Tuesday, April 20, 2010 In

Cash (Coalition for Artists and Stake holders) Music has released two mini apps, which allow artists to give free songs to anybody who tweets about their music or posts a Facebook update. The concept in itself is not new. In October 2007, Radiohead, popular rock band, made its new album available for download. The customer could choose to pay whatever price he/she thinks is worth the album.  It was a step towards an attempt to revolutionize the way music is sold. We have come a long way since then. Today, prominent artists in order to curb the competition and piracy give albums for free and do live online shows.

Cash Music's mini apps can do lot more for independent artists and new comers.  The simple apps can become viral machines, spreading word across two largest social networks.

HTML5 For all your Apple woes - Google
Posted by FISH On Friday, April 02, 2010 In

HTML 5 represents a game changer in web standards since the current (4.01) specification. HTML 5 is not merely intended to present content in a web browser, but its goal is to bring the web as a full-fledged application platform, where video, sound, images, and animations are all standardized. Most promising features of HTML5 are its offline data storage capabilities and incorporation of Flash (a missing capability in iPad).
