Ipad with all its positives still may not be able beat Notion Ink's Adam tablet, which is based on android. If you compare Ipad and Adam head to head with their specifications, then Adam makes mockery of what ipad boasts about. Below are the specifications that will give you the entire picture.
Here is a quick comparison sheet between Notion Ink's Adam and Apple Ipad courtesy of Technoholik
There are lot of other features that make Adam a clear winner. For example, Adam's camera can swivel 180 degrees, giving you a clear view of everything around. Adam also comes with 3 USB ports, one HDMI out port for full HD in 1080p and with a battery life of more than 24 hours. Adam will be available in June 2010 in price range of $327-$800.
Unless you are an early adopter I think it's better to hold off on Apple' Ipad. The above specs along with the Adam's multi-tasking capabilities puts Adam above the Ipad. It may not as sweet ride for Apple this time around as it has been in the past with its ipod and iphone. As a technology frenzy fish all I can hope for is "may the best pad win"
